Our lives are written on paper.

We alter our words

According to the preferences of our readership.

When there’s a mistake,

We try to erase it,

But some flaws were scribbled in pen.

Some were drawn in personally,

While others were acts of vandalism in our stories.

Everyone’s pages include errors.

In the end, we’re all just looking for someone

Who thinks we are a page-turner.
